Elsa is a 24-year-old human female, originally from Triboar. She never knew her father, and her mother died (after a brief illness) when she was 14.
Having taken a job at the Everwyvern House to support herself, Elsa became friends with Toblen Stonehill and his wife Trilena. Toblen left the Everwyvern House with the dream of striking it rich prospecting around Westhill. When he realized he knew more about running an inn—something the newly resettled town didn’t have—he founded the Stonehill Inn.
As their business grew, the Stonehills found themselves in need of additional help, and asked Elsa to come work for them. Having no other ties in Triboar, she gladly accepted. Some called Elsa flirty or gossipy, but others said she was just helping people relax and have a good time… improving her tips in the process!
When T’Sai originally arrived in Westhill, Elsa found herself strangely attracted to the Yuan-ti pureblood. They could frequently be seen heading upstairs together at the end of her shift… and it wasn’t long after that Elsa found herself pregnant. Taken captive by the Redbrands, T’Sai led the charge that rescued her and freed the town from the ruffians.
When questioned why T’Sai was renovating the Tresendar Manor, he revealed that he was doing so to be able to provide for the mother of his child(ren?)… For, upon entering the Tresendar crypt, T’Sai had recognized the ancient family’s crest as the same as a pendant that Elsa wore–the only thing she had from her father. They verified that Elsa was indeed a Tresendar heir when she was able to open the magically sealed front doors of the manor.
Following T’Sai’s disappearance in the spring of 1491 DR, Elsa took over supervision of the reconstruction of Tresendar Manor, while Zesstra managed the construction of the barracks below. Regular meetings with Sister Garaele divined that T’Sai and his companions were indeed alive, so Elsa ensured that each had a room ready for them upon their return.
When the time came, Trilena was by Elsa’s side as she gave birth to T’Sai’s child. Care for her baby and keeping the books for the Tresendar operations have proven to be a full time job since the Manor’s completion.
